Marcus Hassan is a professional drummer, drum instructor, an active church musician and a session drummer who works towards making good music and impacting knowledge on the younger generation of drummers through mentorship and tutorship with his unique style of playing. Marcus holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics and Health Education from Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai, Niger State, Nigeria.
He is currently the drummer for the Celebration Church International (CCI) Abuja, he has also worked and played for some respectable Singers in Abuja, and across the country like Chynaydhu on the single "War Cry", "Forever yours", E Daniels on the song "Yahweh" Daniel Bentley on the single "Daddy" and many projects for the music group OUTBURST which he is still a part of. He has organised drum seminars physically and virtually for drummers around the globe and recently tutoring and coaching some young drummers virtually in Europe, America, Africa and around the globe.
He also won the Millennium Africa award for best drummer of the year in 2015 and 2019 respectively amongst other awards given to him in his Province.
